DEEWAN-E-GHALIB aur HUM

I just had to re-post it here. This is the first time I have read anything from the original Deewan-e-Ghalib! I'll be honest and would tell you that I haven't had a chance to read this post completely but there is one thing I understood; Urdu is indeed a very rich language and we should be proud to be Urdu speakers, yet the sad part is that I couldn't completely comprehend most of these writings. It is sad that generation after us wouldn't even understand this much...thanks to our education system! and bizarre longing for western curriculum.
