Update on Yahoo Classic Games‏

Hello,

We are writing to inform you of an important change we are making to Yahoo Classic Games, which is currently being offered through Yahoo Games.

As of December 31, 2014, we will no longer offer Yahoo Classic Games, which includes Yahoo Poker, Yahoo Pool and Yahoo Bingo. This decision is part of our efforts to streamline our product offerings and focus our energy and resources on developing for Yahoo’s core experiences.

What does this mean?
• Starting on December 31, 2014, Yahoo Games will no longer offer Yahoo Classic Games (web and mobile), which includes Yahoo Poker, Yahoo Pool and Yahoo Bingo.
• As of November 19, 2014, Yahoo Classic Games will no longer be accepting purchases with real currency. Some games may continue to offer items for purchase with virtual funds (e.g. chips in Yahoo Poker) until the games stop working on December 31, 2014. Please plan your in-app purchases accordingly.
• You can still enjoy the hundreds of games built by third party developers through the Yahoo Games Network.

If you need additional help, please visit this page.

Thank you for playing with us and we invite you to check out the many other ways we've been inspiring and entertaining our users around the world. You can find out more here.

Regards,
The Yahoo Games Team

Crazy thoughts-2

If you guys really want to know what I use to think, let me put down another few examples here:

1. Why do we have to use cables to transmit electricity? Why can't we transmit electricity just as we do radio/tv waves in air? I asked this question to my dad when I was in secondary school and he told me it was not possible. I always wanted to ask my physics teacher but was too afraid to make fool of myself, and here it is! :

  • http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/science/nature/8467472.stm (Power from space?)!!
2. What are properties of Fire? Probably it has something to do with concentration of Photons and all, may be not? I am not in mood of googling right now but all I know is that there has to be a proper explanation of this phenomenon which is perhaps not commonly understood.
